My ABC Wednesday theme: The Mama and Her Authentic Green Thumbs . . .and Fingers |

"She'd go crazy," the Only and Older Bionic Brother said.

The Mama may be content staying home, but she needs and wants space to roam in the outdoors. Her gardens are the perfect place and size for keeping her hands happy year-round.

I'm participating in ABC Wednesday, a meme began Mrs. Denise Nesbitt and administered today by Roger Green at Ramblin' with Roger. Today is the letter H. Click here to read other H posts.
One should stay where she's happy. Let the happy hands be happy.
ReplyDeleteYep. Definitely.
DeleteLet her stay there, even with assistance, that's when you have her the longest!
ReplyDeleteThere the Mama shall be for as long as she is happy. :-)
DeleteShe is a great mind and can still move around then she needs to be where she is. What is she creating in the last picture? It looks neat:)
ReplyDeleteThe Mama is "brushing" seeds out of the sunflower. She saves them for the next year's crop.
Deletean important task!

DeleteSo lovely to have a Mama with Happy Hands,
ReplyDeleteI hope she does Happy Talking as well?
she always looks so engrossed in her work.
Does she live with you Su-see or is she living in her own place?
Tell us more about her earlier life, I love to know about her.
I bet she's got some interesting tales to tell?
Best wishes from Di.
ABCW team.
Every year since the Husband and I have been living with the Mama, her frowny, grumpy talking has grown less and her happy talking has increased. And, yes, she does have some fantastic stories, which I need to write.
DeleteI never liked gardening wouldn't miss it at all. But is nice for your Mama if she likes it !
ReplyDeleteThe Mama is one of those people in which plants is her life.
DeleteMy mom got to stay in her home until her dying breath. I lived with her the last two and a half years to make it so, but the effort was well worth it for both of us. - Margy
ReplyDeleteThat's how I feel, Margy. There are days when the Mama, the Husband, Molly the Cat, or I are gritting our teeth, but that's life.
DeleteFor a moment I thought the sunflower pod was honeycomb, then my brain kicked in! ... funny how Mother Nature never wastes a pattern.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was honeycomb, too, the first time I saw a sunflower pod. I wonder what else has a similar pattern.
