Happy Monday, Dear Readers! It's another glorious morning.
There aren't many morning glories in the Mama's garden this year because of the drought. Those that managed to pop up are flourishing happily. They're all 11th generation volunteers.
Today I'm participating in NatureFootstep's Catching the Light meme. Click here to join in or to check out photos by other participants.
You captured this morning gory beautifully! And I like the play on words:):)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jeanette.
DeleteThat's mostly all I do lately, is pull these things and maybe softly swear at them. Does
ReplyDeletethe Mama do that too?
She doesn't pull them out as much as she used to. There are fewer of them so I think she's at peace with them.
DeleteI love the name of this flower vine! Nice light...

Morning glories are among my favorite flowers. I love how they take over with randomness.
DeleteA beautiful flower that suits the day. Love this picture because it seems to be lifting towards the sun
ReplyDeleteA tall rose bush and the house blocks the flower from getting full sun. I love how silky it looks.
DeleteI think you flower is wonderful. And I think I've got a similiar in my garden.
ReplyDeleteHappy tuesday
Mormor
Cool, Anne. :-)
DeleteA morning glory with some pretty light on it. What a lovely sight.
ReplyDelete:-)
Deletethis is one of my favorite flowers I love to see in summer. It sits beautifully on that rusty (?) pole. :)
ReplyDeleteYup, the vine is climbing up a rusty pole. I like the contrast of it all.
DeleteWhat a beautiful Morning Glory - I suppose it's even more precious Because of the Drought . . .
ReplyDeleteIt blooms like a gift . . . and you share it . . making my heart happy.
Precisely, Georgy. I'm glad to hear that your heart is happy seeing it. :-)
DeleteWonderful capture of photo AND light! :-)
ReplyDeleteThey remind me of the trumpet- like speaker that my Grandmother's old radiogram had.
ReplyDeleteDo you remember the HMV or Parlaphone Dog that used to adorn the old 78rpm records
oops! showing my age!

I remember those trumpet things and the Parlaphone Dog. I didn't know it had a name. Guess my age is showing, too. :-)
